Sacred Harp Singing in the New York City Area The Manhattan Sing was begun in 2001 at St. Bart’s Church in Midtown Manhattan by Bradford West and Gail Harper.  In 2009, the church was feeling the economic crunch to the extent that they felt they needed to begin charging for their space, forcing the sing to move to a new location.  We’re happy to have found a new home at The Church of the Epiphany  on the Upper East Side.
